Dr Jarrod Zamparini
MBChB (Pret), FCP (SA), MMed (Wits), FRCP
Dr Zamparini completed his undergraduate training at the University of Pretoria in 2012 where he obtained his MBChB degree with distinction. This was followed by an internship at Helen Joseph Hospital and a community service year in the Department of Medicine at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital (CMJAH). Jarrod completed his specialist training at Chris Hani Baragwanath, Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg and Helen Joseph Academic Hospitals, the three major teaching hospitals on the University of the Witwatersrand training circuit, and he holds a Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine from Wits as well as a Diploma in HIV Management from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. Jarrod is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of South Africa and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London.
Jarrod also spent time working as a Clinical Fellow in the de Swiet Obstetric Medicine Centre at the Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in London. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Wits as well as a Consultant Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at CMJAH where he is the Physician-Lead for the Obstetric Internal Medicine Unit.
